Applications made earlier than six months before the proposed date of matriculation must be renewed sometime within the six months immediately preceding this proposed date (and, to be effective, before the dates on which the Numbered Lists and Preferred Lists are made up). These renewal periods, each for the next succeeding quarter, are as follows: April 1-July 15; July 1-November 15; October 1-March I; December 15-June 1. (The latest effective renewal dates for graduate women are respectively: September 1, December 20; March 15; June 1.) Earlier (or frequent) renewals are unnecessary. Numbered Lists are begun immediately after July 15th, November 15th, March ist, and June Ist respectively, for the next succeeding quarter. Preferred Lists for under- graduates are begun and closed on the same dates (for graduates they are closed imme- diately after September ist, December 20th, March 15th, and June Ist). (Numbered List and Preferred List cards will be mailed to candidates about a week later than the dates named.) Complete credentials must be in the hands of the Registrar before candidates can be placed on either the Numbered List or the Preferred List. Keep this card: it is your receipt that application (or renewal) has been duly recorded.
