WALLACE BEERY AND JACKIE COOPER. (M.G.M.)
Wallace Beery, the old stage and film veteran, and Jackie
Cooper, one of the youngest stars, have been teamed in many
successes, including “ Treasure Island.” Beery was born
April 1st, 1889, in Kansas City, and before entering films was
a circus attendant. He is the greatest character actor of the
screen. Jackie Cooper was born September 15th, 1923, and
is the film's most appealing youngster.
