RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE near San Antonio, Texas.
This base is one of the largest military airdromes in the
world and also the largest of the flying schools of the
U. S. Air Force where, during the last war, approximately
100,000 pilots were trained. The School of Aviation
Medicine is also conducted here. The reservation, con-
structed at a cost of $10,400,000 is approximately 2
miles square and Randolph Base is a city within itself.
