The wonderful waxy white and yellow blos-
som of the Sahuaro is the State Flower of
Arizona. It is to be seen at the tops of the
Sahuaro stalks and at the ends of the branches,
often forming a complete corona around them.
This bloom which occurs in April, May and
June is followed by fruit or seed pods which
burst open and expose bright red insides.
