Buffalo Contender for Benny Leonard's
Crown
There are few tougher lightweights in the
world than Rocky Kansas of Buffalo, N. Y.,
where he was born in 1895. He is short
and stocky, being just 5 feet 2 inches tall.
He fought Leonard twice and lost, but he
put up great battles, fighting the last time
with a broken hand from the second round
until the eighth when he had to stop. His
