This ear won the GRAND CHAMPION TROPHY at the contest of
the IOWA CORN GROWERS' ASSOCIATION held at Ames, Iowa, in
January, 1907. It sold at public auction for the phenomenal price of
$150.00, or at the rate of $8,850.00 per bushel.
Raised one mile east of Grand Mound, Iowa, by D. L. Pascal, breeder
of pure seed corn. Address R. F. D. No. 1, De Witt, Iowa.
