Mark Twain, (Samuel Langhorne Clemens),
was born in Florida, Mo. 1835; he married a
lady of fortune and developed into the great-
est American Humorist; his first book was
the “Jumping Frog” and after his visit to
Europe, he wrote “Innocents Abroad," later
he published "Huckleberry Finn,” “Tom Saw-
yer, “Tramp Abroad;" produced a drama en-
titled “Gilded Age” and compiled the Memoirs
of General Grant. Died April 21, 1910.
