The apples used in our flag
emblem, are of the Lauvre variety,
were grown in the Pajaro Valley,
Watsonville being the shipping point.
The exhibit however is intended
to show some of the fall and
winter varieties grown in Sonoma
County near Sebastopol. The
þest variety, which is not shown on
account of the late season, is the
GRAVENSTEIN for which
SONOMA COUNTY is famous.
