The Triplane is an interesting and exceptional variety of the Aeroplane, and the one here illustrated was built at Manchester by Mr. A.V. Roe, the highly successful air-man. It has a span of 26 ft. and a lenght of 24 ft. 6 in., while its four-bladed propeller is driven by a motor of only 9 horse power. Mr. A.V. Roe flew with this machine both at Wembley and Brooklands.
