LARGEST AIRSHIP
Cruising radius at 50 M.P.H. 10,580 miles
without refueling, 8 engines, 4,480 horsepower,
use of non-inflammable helium allows location
of motors inside ship’s hull. Provision made
for storage within hull of 5 airplanes, storage
compartment being 75 feet long and 60 ft.
wide. Safety Factors,—triple layer hull of
great structural strength, 12 separate gas cells,
all parts accessible while in flight. Ship can be
adapted to carry 100 passengers. Radio cabin
and commanding officer's quarters are directly
over the control car.
