25 20 Dos care The Kings River Development of San Joaquin Light & Power Corporation is one of the most spectacular hydro-electric proj- ects in the West. It will have an ultimate o output of almost 300,000 horse power. The Haas and Balch Power Houses will be the highest head plants in the United States, the water being dropped distances of between u 2500 and 2600 feet. The project will take between seven and eight years to complete and will cost between $50,000,000.00 and $60,000,000.00.
