| End of thye Old Santa Fe Trail ,this plaza was a haven of rest to the weary traveler in the early days. The Monument,se3em in the center ,was erected in memory of the heroes of the Indian Pueblo Rebeilion of 1680 and other battles ,and their names are inscribed thereon. The Palace of the Grovenors is seen on the north side,while a table marking the "End of the Santa Fe Trail" is on the south.The "Rebel" Nonument may be seen in the center |
