The World War Memorial Building, Mont-
gomery, is occupied by the Alabama State
Department of Archives and History with its
vast collections of archival materials, histori-
cal reference library, museums, portraits and
statuary. The structure is a concrete and
steel monolith in pure Greek style lined with
beautiful Alabama cream toned marble.
