Pioneer Covered Wagon and Donkey Attended the tenth National Convention American Legion, San Antonio, Texas, Oct. 8th to 12th, 1928 In 1907 to 1909 making the trip with old fighting Bob Evans, covering 75,000 miles by sea. In 1915 to 1916 making four trips to Cuba covering six ports and making five trips to England, France and Holland, covering 37,000 miles, then came back to New York City and served in the U. S. Engineers Co. E-Second Division and went to France for 181/2 months. Now we are going to try and cover all the most of the miles by land with my pioneer covered wagon and donkey.
