The Calo Rescue Unit stands ready for
a request from any authorized county,
state or federal agency, at any time of
day or night, to assist in the search for
persons lost in the rural or mountain
areas of California. When called, they
are under way within minutes in their station wagon, which is fully equipped with telephone and civil air patrol radio
communications, high output public address system, complete field equipment for tracking under all conditions of
terrain and weather, plus camping and first aid facilities.
