Additional Details:
Shown on the front of this card are bloodhounds Calo King (left) and Calo Queen, members of the Calo Rescue Unit. The Bloodhound is the "father of all hounds," and these famous dogs are among the finest of the breed. With their keen sense of smell and great courage and endurance, they will follow the trail of a lost person for many miles under the most difficult conditions of terrain and weather. A diet of nutritious Calo Dog Food keeps the Calo Bloodhounds heathly and eager for public service at all times. At the right the Bloodhounds are pictured with search expert Russ Cone, Director of the Calo Rescue Unit and veteran of nearly 100 successful searches for lost persons. The Calo Unit stands ready for a request from any authorized county, state or federal agency, at any time of day or night, to assist in the search for persons lost in the rural or mountain areas of California. When called, they are under way within minutes in their station wagon, which is fully equipped with telephone and civil air patrol radio communications , high output public address system, complete field equipment for tracking under all conditions of terrain and weather, plus camping and first aid facilities.
