Houston's new Union Passenger Station
is the most complete in all its appoint-
ments in the entire Southwest.
station is three stories in height, with a
frontage of 250 feet and a

White terra cotta has been em-
ployed for the first two stories, while the
third story of brick and the roof of green
tile give a pleasing contrast. The various
waiting rooms have high wainscotings
of imported marble. A rest room for
ladies exclusively is one of the attractive
features. Supported by fluted columns
the ceiling of the main waiting room
rises to the second story. The architect-
ure inclines strongly to the Roman style.
The construction is fireproof throughout.
The second and third stories are devoted
railroad and business offices.
