THE MARLBOROUGH - BLENHEIM HOTEL.
The Marlborough was opened in 1902, and reconstructed in
1905 by adding the Blenheim annex. The size of the entire
hotel is 300 by 600 feet and the total cost of construction is
$2,500,000. The solarium, overlooking the ocean, is one of
the largest in the world. The building is absolutely fireproof;
the structural parts are re-inforced concrete, and the walls
hollow tile; it can accommodate over a thousand.
