Showing the Crocker Building and the Masonic Temple to the right. The corner stone of the Masonic Temple was laid June 24th, 1860, and the building was occupied in May of 1863. The building cost $250,000, and the price of the land was between $50,000 and $60,000. The building was destroyed in the fire of 1906.
