Wyatt Earp, one of the most famous of the
peace officers of the 80's, is best known in Tomb -
stone lo e fer the part he played in the Earp-Clan -
ton battle, October 26, 1881, when he led his dep -
uties against the cowboy Clantons, three of the
latter being killed. The sene of the battle is one
block of: BROADWAY OF AMERICA, (US 80),
is his former home.
