NATIONAL RADIO ASTRONOMY OBSERVATORY Very Large Array (VLA) Socorro, New Mexico USA POST Nine antennas along the VLA's "North Arm" track a radio source across the sky. The dish-shaped reflectors of these radio telescopes are 25 m (82 ft.) in diameter.
