Coronation Coach - Official Souvenir, Queen Elizabeth II

JUNE 2nd, 1953 OXFORD CIRCUS THE CORONATION ST MARBLE ARCH will be used by Queen COACHElizabeth II, to and from OXFORD Westminster Abbey. Built in 1762, it is 24 feet long, weighs 4 tons, costing £7,528, the carving being done by J. Wilton, R.A., the panels painted by Cipriani. The Coach is supported at each cor- ner by the figure of Triton, at the roof stand three figures wearing the Imperial Crown, representing The British PICCADILLY CIRCUS Isles.
