The road between Fairbanks and Tok, Alaska is situated in the scenic Tanana River Valley. To the south of the highway rise some of the more majestic peaks of the Alaska Range. Visitors may occasionally see wildlife, or on rare instances, a weather-beaten Alaskan lying spent and discarded along this famous route.
