Seeking shade, bathers retreat under colorful umbrellas that line
the beach at Derbingle. A year-round tourist mecca whose name
has become synonymous with “fun in the sun,” this once-
somnolent town suddenly found itself in the news when Night of
the Guava was filmed nearby in 1964.
