PETERSEN ROCK GARDENS
in Central Oregon between Redmond and Bend on
old U. S. 97.
Started as a hobby by Mr. Petersen from his gather-
ing of Oregon native volcanic rocks and gems of many
colors, he personally made them into many exhibits
of castles, statues and pools. The setting is on his
farm. The Gardens have become so famous that a con-
stant stream of tourists visit them daily.
