Alabama Power Company Building, located
on the north west corner of Sixth Avenue and
18th Street, is fourteen stories high and is sur-
mounted by a figure, symbolic of the Power of
Electricity
nude female, weighs several tons and is cast of
bronze. The building is the home office of the
Alabama Power Company, whose vast interests
spread throughout the entire South. Considered
to be one of the three most be autiful public
utility buildings in the world.
