Considered "The Typical Mid-Century Y.M.C.A. Building." Built and equipped at a cost of approximately $1,500,000.00, and dedicated February 10th, 1952, it was the first Y.M.C.A. building to be completely air-conditioned. It has residence rooms for more than 150 men, and operates a Lunch Room and Cafeteria on the ground floor.

    i stayed in that wonderful building , in mid 1971. it was part of my 1.st r.t.w trip. it was 115 degrees temp . outside!!! the aircon , was good. as ever . john e.
