ALBERT MEMORIAL, BELFAST, IRELAND
Belfast is the chief commercial and manufacturing
town of Ireland and the capital of the Province of
Ulster. The weaving of linen by power looms, while
not as old as in Dundee and in Leeds, has grown so
rapidly since its inception that it is now the chief
industry. The largest monument is the Albert Memorial
erected in memory of the beloved Consort of Queen
Victoria.
