Travel Town, one of the world's most completely
stocked transportation museums, is located on
the northern edge of Griffith Park, Los Angeles.
On display at the vehicular exhibit, which is a
facility of the Los Angeles City Recreation and
Park Department, are historic locomotives, rail-
road cars of various types, airplanes, ancient
locomotives, and an array of horse-
drawn vehicles. Travel Town is open
daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
