Annual Corn Festival

Early each August the local Lion's Club holds its annual
Corn Festival in the local park, where thousands of large,
tender-juicy ears of prize-winning corn-especially grown
for the occasion-are prepared in open kettles, doused
with melted butter and served to townspeople and visitors.
