SANTA YSABEL INDIAN MISSION
Founded Sept. 20, 1818, as an Asistencia of
Mission San Diego. It is located in the back
country of San Diego County, Calif. Under the
direction of the Sons of the Sacred Heart, the
Mission still serves more than 700 Indians in
ten Indian Reservations.
