LEUCADIA – ROY'S MARKET - 1144 HWY. 101
Located 28 miles north of San Diego, California,
and is the earthly home of the
"MAN FROM MARS."
The Man from Mars unit was originated here,
and made in 1956. It is powered by a small
gasoline engine, carried on the back; power
transfer to left skate (18 inches long). The right
skate has the emergency brake. The head-gear
has little to do except to go for the ride; the
two jets actually have a jet stream while in
motion. I can travel at any speed from standing
still to forty miles an hour, with only one
control to be set. My hands are free at all
times. So far it has created quite a sensation,
for its gruesome head, I have been in many
parades and on television, to demonstrate.
"MAN FROM MARS" is the name given.
