The FIRST METHODIST CHURCH of Long Beach was
organizud in 1884 as an outgrowth of the Methodist
Conference Camp Meeting. With the completion of the
Educational Unit in 1959, the church continues to move
forward under the leadership of Rev. Alec Gerald
Nichols.
