MILLARD FILLMORE was born at Summer Hill,
Cayuga Co., New York on Jan. 7, 1800. He had been the
Whig candidate for Vice-President elected with President Taylor,
and after the sudden death of the latter, filled out the term,
serving for two years and eight months. He died on March 8,
1874.
