No better raisins are produced in the world than those of California. They are mostly
made from Muscat Grapes which are picked in September and left on trays from two to
four weeks to dry, when as cluster raisins they are ready to eat. Nothing but sunshine and
pure air enter into them. One hundred million pounds are produced each year in California.
