Nicasio's Little Red Schoolhouse, built in 1871, is
one of Marin County's favorite landmarks. Located
on the Nicasio-Petaluma road, just a half mile north
of Rancho Nicasio, operated by Nick and Mary Kobseff
and Glenn M. Kerch, it is a colorful remnant of
"the beautiful hidden valley's" fascinating past.
