Directions for Cleaning Marble Statuary
Never use soap. soda or acids, they
will turn the mable a yellowish tint.
Carrara marble can be cleaned with
water and if very dirty pumice stone can be used. Water
will also clean Castellina Marble. Finger marks or fly
spots can be easily removed with a sponge or very fine
sand paper. Dust the marble well before washing it.
