From this head tower, 460 feet tall, seven
cableways extend over the Dam, to tail
towers on the opposite side of the canyon.
These cable ways are used to deliver the
concrete to the dam forms. The mixing plan
is 8 stories high, with a daily capacity of
10,000 cubic yards of concrete.
