The University of Southern California was
founded July 29th, 1879. The campus com-
prises 45 acres, most of which front on
beautiful University Avenue, The University
consists of 24 schools and colleges, with a
total enrollment of over 7500 students, and
has approximately 500 faculty members. The
University is directly opposite Exposition Park
wherein is located the famous Coliseum at
which the University of Southern California
(Trojans) play their home football games.
