The San Bruno Lions Club Appeals to You as a Citizen of Our City to Assist in
Promoting a
GIANT AUCTION SALE
TO BE HELD AT THE OLD SAFEWAY STORE ON
NOVEMBER 9th and 10th
As you perhaps know, our Club is a Non-Profit Organization, devoted mainly to
furthering the Health and Recreation Program of our children. With the assist-
ance of our Boy Scout Troop, we will call at your home on SUNDAY, NOV. 4th
and would appreciate any donations of old unwanted Furniture, Appliances,
Clothing, Rags or Old Newspapers. Most important are all types of Scrap Metal
which are critically needed by the Government.
If you do not plan on being at home on Sunday, Nov. 4th, your contribution may
be placed on the curbstone in front of your home. The Lions Club will appreciate
any contribution that you are able to give us in order that this Auction will be a
huge success.
