The County Government Center in Redwood City serves
a 454 square mile area, a population of nearly 600,000
and employs more than 4300. The eight story Hall of
Justice houses the Board of Supervisors, County Man-
ager, County Clerk, District Attorney, Superior Courts,
Sheriff's Department, main jail and adult probation. The
Center includes the historic old Courthouse now called
the Fiscal Building and a five story office building.
