SWEET N' SMOKY OVEN BARBECUED CHICKEN
(A National Chicken Cooking Contest Winner)
Barbecue Sauce
(Combine following ingredients)
2 cup catsup
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 cup cooking oil
4 cup vinegar
/2 cup maple syrup
DELMARVALOUS broiler-
fryer chicken, cut in
serving pieces
1.
large onion, sliced
1.
tsp. hickory smoked salt
V4 tsp. pepper
Place chicken skin side up, in baking pan. Tuck onion slices in
and around chicken. Sprinkle with hickory smoked salt & pepper.
Bake chicken, uncovered, for 30 min. in 375 deg. oven. Pour
barbecue sauce over chicken and bake 30 min. longer. Serves 4.
