CARROLL COUNTY FARM MUSEUM
Westminster, Maryland
This first Farm Museum in Maryland was opened in 1966
and hosts thousands of visitors from April through
October for school tours, special festivals and events
including Christmas Open House. The main house was
built in 1852 and served as the County Alms House.
Outbuildings on the 140 acres include barns, wagon
sheds, smokehouse, blacksmith shop, spring house,
windmill, workshops, log cabin and many innovative
exhibits.
