Easter Greetings
Fallen Leaf Lodge, Lake Tahoe, Cal.
From out of the peace and quiet and
surpassing beauty of the High Sierras,
we wish you all joy.
It has been a glorious winter. The
wild storms have been a delight, and the
deep snow gives promise of abundant
waterfalls, myriads of flowers and good
fishing.
The photo was taken late in March
and shows a film of ice which forms only
on still, clear nights. Spring is already
near. Pussy willows are out, and the
first birds are arriving from the southland.
