LA POSTA
Mesilla, New Mexico
One of the oldest and most historic places in
Mesilla is La Posta, the world-famous Mexican
restaurant. For one hundred and fifty years,
La Posta has been the center of southwestern
hospitality. It is the only stage coach station
on the Butterfield Trail that is still in use for
the service of the traveler.
