Interesting Architecture/Fascinating History
The year is 1958, and Walthers is moving into a new home,
1245 N. Water Street.
Built in 1890 and still standing, this Milwaukee building was the
Walthers headquarters from 1958 – 1969. A theatre, manufacturing
plant, warehouse, and even a "hotel" of questionable nature, have
called this stately cream city brick "home".
This new Magnuson HO replica is a joy to assemble. One piece
polyester castings and architectural components are cast in place —
even the detailed bay window! In addition, decal sign sheet lets you
decorate for four different tenants. You even receive a booklet
