STRAWBERRY, CALIFORNIA. This popular all year re-
sort and supply base is located on the scenic Lincoln
Highway, U. S. 50, near the foot of Strawberry Peak, 43
miles east of Placerville, at an altitude of 6000 feet. It
is one of the main gateways to the ever popular and
highly developed Lover's Leap Ski Area, of Eldorado
County. To the left of the resort may be seen the
