The Scotch Collie.
(Canis domesticus.)
The Scotch Collie is most popular, and is probably
more admired than any other dog. He is very handsome
and remarkably intelligent, and large sums of money have
been paid for one of these animals. It is a beautiful sight to
watch the Collie collect his sheep on a mountainside and
drive them into their pen. He seems to possess the brains
of a human being.
