THE HAYDEN PLANETARIUM, NEW YORK
AURORA BOREALIS
On the dome of the Hayden Planetarium can be shown in
color the waving, changing beauty of the aurora borealis,
or northern lights. In this picture, taken in the Planetarium
chamber, we see a combination of the arch and streamer
types of aurora, with part of the Planetarium silhouette of
New York's sky line standing out sharply on the horizon.
