During the year 1927, our first year in
business, Dinah's Shack served over 200,-
000 guests; 223,764 portions of fried milk-
fed chickens were cooked and served; 20
tons of Crisco were used to fry them.
Served 696,960 biscuits, (the bake shop
used over 200 barrels of Sperry Flour). We
served 170,360 cups of percolated coffee,
39,338 combination salads, 118,656 portions
of French fried potatoes, and 14,405 old-
fashioned strawberry short - cakes. The
kitchen is a model of neatness and is open
for inspection at all times. The personnel
of 50 express uniform, courteous service
that has necessitated increasing the seat-
ing capacity to over 300.
