rd No. 169-Second Issue-(Corrected.)
SAN JOSE, CAL., December 11, 1907.
$25.00 REWARD
For the recovery of the following described property stolen from San Jose on the
evening of November 29th last:
Small dark, bay mare, with dark points; weighs about 850 to 900 lbs.; trim
build; heavy mane; long, heavy tail, and a heavy coat of hair if not clipped since
being stolen; foretop was probably clipped, but am not sure; throws head when
traveling as if something is in ear; stumbles when traveling, but had never been
down on knees; will not stand for the whip, but very gentle; travels with a short
step, but is a fair traveler.
Hitched to a red-running-geared black-bodied Babcock road wagon, with top3;
storm lap fastened to dash board; high rubber-tired wheels, with a two-foot piece
of new tire on the right forward wheel; buggy in very fair condition.
The above reward will be paid for the recovery of this outfit. If found, ar-
party in possession and wire at my expense.
